In an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately. ShareBucketList is a planning tool. It is not monitored around the clock and cannot send help.

Before you go

• Check your government's official travel advice for each destination, including entry requirements, visas, health advice and local laws.
• Confirm bookings, opening times and prices directly with the provider. Information on this site can be incomplete or out of date.
• Consider travel insurance that covers your activities, including adventure sports and medical evacuation where relevant.
• Keep copies of key documents somewhere separate from the originals, and leave your itinerary with someone you trust.

Activities and risk

Risk levels, fitness requirements, age limits and similar labels on activities are general guidance, not a safety assessment. Conditions change with weather, season and your own health and experience. Use qualified guides where appropriate, follow local rules and instructions, and turn back when something doesn't feel right.

Protecting your information

• Share a trip only with people you trust, and remove access you no longer want. Anyone you give access to can see what that access shows.
• Public trip links show only a limited summary, but anyone with the link can open it. Avoid posting them where strangers will see them while you are travelling.
• Travel documents and loyalty numbers in your traveler profile are visible only to you and our authorised staff. Store them only if the convenience is worth it to you.
• Use a strong, unique password and sign out on shared devices. We will never ask for your password by email.

Dealing with vendors and other users

• Vendors and content providers are approved for a role, but we do not guarantee their services. Check reviews, licences and cancellation terms before you pay.
• Be cautious with anyone who asks you to pay outside a trusted booking channel, send money by wire or gift card, or share personal or financial details.
• If you meet people through the Service, meet in public places and tell someone your plans.

Reporting a problem

If you see content that is unsafe, misleading, abusive or infringes your rights, or you think your account has been compromised, email legal@sharebucketlist.com with a link and a short description. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts.
