Reporting and safety

Report something wrong in the catalogue, stop emails you don't want, and what limits keep the site safe.

Updated October 19, 2026

Report something

If an activity, event or place is wrong, out of date, spam or offensive, open it and click Report (under Actions; you need to be signed in). Pick a reason, add a note if it helps, and click Send report.

Staff look at every report; the person who added the item isn't told who reported it. When three people report something a member added, it's hidden until staff have looked at it. You can report each item once.

To report a review, use Report on the review itself.

Stop emails you don't want

Every email we send about activity on your account ends with Stop emails like this. Click it (no need to sign in) and click Stop these emails: that kind of email stops, and everything still shows under the bell when you sign in. Changed your mind? Click Undo on the same page.

Many mail apps also show their own Unsubscribe button for our emails; it does the same thing. To stop all emails at once, turn off Email notifications in your Settings.

Emails you asked for, like a password reset or an invitation, don't have the link.

Storage

Each account has 1 GB for photos and tickets: goal photos, albums, trip photos, pictures you add to the catalogue and tickets on bookings. That's about 300 phone photos. Uploads are made smaller before they're stored, so most photos take far less than their original size.

When you're at the limit, an upload says Not uploaded with how much you've used. Remove some photos or tickets, then try again.

Limits on signing in

To stop people guessing passwords, sign-up codes or invitation links, the site limits how often each can be tried from one place: for example, 10 sign-in attempts in 15 minutes. Past the limit you see Too many attempts; wait the minutes it says and try again.

Problems

Problem What to do
"Too many attempts" Wait and try again. If you've forgotten your password, use Forgot password once rather than guessing.
"Not uploaded: you've used …" Remove photos or tickets you no longer need.
No Report button Sign in first. You can't report something you added yourself; edit it instead.
