Comments and notes

Leave a note for everyone on a trip, on the trip itself or on a day, a plan or a task, and edit or delete your own.

Updated October 18, 2026

Notes are a conversation between the people planning a trip. They're not part of the itinerary: the booklet and a shared link never show them.

Who can add notes

Commentors and editors can add notes; viewers can read them (who can do what).

Notes on the trip

At the bottom of the trip page, under Trip notes, click Add a comment, write your note and click Save.

Notes on a day, a plan or a task

  • A day: open the day and click Add a note to this day, at the end of the day.
  • One of the day's plans: click Add a note under it.
  • A task: in Reference, under Still to book, click Add a note under the task.

Write your note and click Save. You land back on the trip page at your note, with its day open.

Once a day, plan or task has notes, they show where they belong (Notes on this day, the plan's title with "notes", Notes on this task), and Add a comment under them adds yours to the conversation.

Editing or deleting your notes

Click Edit beside your note. Change it and click Save, or click Delete; deleting removes it for everyone. An edited note is marked (edited). You can only edit your own notes; the site's staff can edit any.
