Changes and undo
See what changed on a trip and who changed it, undo a change, and bring back something removed by mistake.
Updated October 18, 2026
Every change to a trip's journeys, stays, activities, meals, days' plans and confirmations is recorded: what changed, who changed it and when. Click History at the top of the trip page (next to Map, Budget, Photos and People) to see the list, newest first. Anyone who can see the trip can read it.
Reading the history
Each line says who made the change and what it was, for example "Ed: Changed Frankfurt Hbf → Augsburg Hbf: departs 10:00 AM CEST → 10:30 AM CEST". Click a line to go to that item on the trip page.
Use Day, Person and Kind (added, changed, removed) to narrow the list, then Show. Imports and scripts under Person finds changes made by importing an itinerary or by the site itself.
Large jobs, like importing an itinerary or applying tidy suggestions, show as one line, such as "Applied tidy suggestions (6 changes)".
The history keeps 180 days.
Undo a change
You need editor access.
- Open History.
- Find the change and click Undo.
The item goes back to how it was before that change. Undoing is itself a change, so it shows in the history too and can be undone in turn.
Undo only shows on an item's most recent change. If an item was changed several times, undo the newest first. If it was edited in a way the history didn't record, the site says so and changes nothing, so no edit is lost.
Bring back something removed
If a journey, stay, activity, meal or one of a day's plans was removed by mistake, find its "Removed …" line in History and click Restore. It comes back as it was, with its confirmation numbers, linked contacts and notes, its travellers and any booking tasks that pointed at it.
Whole days and confirmations can't be restored: add them again. (A confirmation's tickets are deleted with it, so keep a copy before removing one.) A deleted trip can only be recovered by the site's staff; ask using the contact page.
Problems
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| No Undo button | You're not an editor, it isn't the item's most recent change, or it was an addition (remove the item instead). |
| "Its day was removed, so there's nowhere to put it back" | The day it was on has gone. Add the day again first, then restore. |
| A change isn't in the history | Changes made before October 18, 2026 weren't recorded, and the history keeps 180 days. |
